Daredevil Born Again Release Schedule: Charlie Cox’s MCU Hero Returns to Fight Crimes in Latest Series

The much-loved Marvel Cinematic Universe character Matt Murdock, played by Charlie Cox, is brought back to life in the new Daredevil: Born Again series! This upcoming show is a continuation from the Netflix version of Daredevil, which ended in 2018. Not only will we see Charlie Cox return as our hero, but Vincent D’Onofrio will also reappear, embodying the villainous Kingpin (Wilson Fisk) once more, delivering another powerful performance.

Instead of streaming on Netflix, the subsequent series is set for release on Disney+, where you can find it starting from March 4, according to its official schedule. The initial two episodes of Daredevil: Born Again will be available there on that day.

Episodes 3 and 4 will come out on March 11th and March 18th respectively, while Episodes 5 and 6 will be shown together on March 25th. As per Disney’s recent press release, these are the only definite release dates for this nine-episode series so far. It appears that a weekly schedule of airing new episodes every Tuesday could be followed, but this hasn’t been officially confirmed yet.

It seems that Disney’s approach for the two-episode kickoff of this show follows a new tactic they’ve also used with programs like “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man” and “Agatha All Along.” But, it’s worth noting that this release style is uncommon when it comes to Marvel Cinematic Universe series.

Regardless, the unusual timing for this series has stirred curiosity and enthusiasm among viewers. As suggested in the official summary, the story will focus on Matt Murdock, known also by his alter ego Daredevil, who finds himself on a head-on path with Wilson Fisk when their past lives start to resurface.

Apart from Cox and D’Onofrio, the talented cast of this show also features Deborah Ann Woll, Jon Bernthal, Kamar de los Reyes, Elden Henson, Michael Gandolfini, and others.

In a recent chat with GQ, Cox hinted at the likelihood of his reappearance as his character in forthcoming Marvel films.

The performer, who had a small role in Spider-Man: No Way Home, has voiced his aspiration to develop his character further and potentially lead roles in upcoming Marvel projects such as Avengers: Doomsday, Avengers: Secret Wars (both confirmed within the franchise), or future Spider-Man movies.
