DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN Is Already Renewed for Season 3

As a total film and TV buff, one of the things that really gets to me about streaming these days is the *wait*. It feels like forever between seasons! Younger viewers might not remember this, but there was a time – and I swear it’s true – when you only had to wait three or four months for a new season to drop. Now it’s often three or four *years*! It’s good to see Daredevil: Born Again seems to be bucking that trend, though. Disney+ has already renewed it for a third season, and they’re starting filming next year, which is a relief.

Daredevil, starring Charlie Cox, will continue its run in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Disney has already renewed the series for a second season, announcing the news before the first season even finished airing. Season two is set to premiere on Disney+ in March 2026. Marvel Studios is clearly confident in the show’s success, as head of streaming, television, and animation, Brad Winderbaum, confirmed it’s already been approved for a third season, with production scheduled to begin next year.

Before Daredevil returns for its third season, a lot is happening in the world surrounding Matt Murdock. In addition to his own show, Jon Bernthal will reprise his role as the Punisher in a separate special planned for 2026, and will also appear in *Spider-Man: Brand New Day*. These storylines involving Frank Castle could influence Daredevil’s narrative, and any surprise appearances by Charlie Cox as Daredevil in other Marvel projects before season three could have a similar effect.

We’re still in the dark about what’s next for Daredevil after season three, and what the future holds for New York City or the wider Marvel Cinematic Universe. Thankfully, we won’t have to wait too long to find out, which is great news for fans these days.
