Daniel Stern Reveals THIS Home Alone Star Accidentally Bit Macauley Culkin’s Finger While Filming Iconic Movie; Find Out

As someone who grew up in the 90s, the Home Alone series holds a special place in my heart. The antics of Kevin McCallister (Macaulay Culkin) and his battles with the Wet Bandits (Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern) were not just entertaining, but also a source of comfort during tough times.

Daniel Stern ensured the audience wasn’t left guessing about a memorable event from the set of Home Alone; he disclosed that, during filming of an intimidation scene, Joe Pesci playfully bit Macaulay Culkin’s finger in one instance.

In a new interview with Entertainment Tonight, Stern was asked about the scene in the movie. He said that he had forgotten about that. The actor added that Pesci was incredible, he loved him, “but he’s a scary dude, and he was carrying it all.”

He also added that their initial intention in the first film was to create genuine terror, and subsequently, they recognized that they had erred but there was an element of fear that established the suspenseful aspect of the story.

The actor reminisced, “Yes, I believe he accidentally bit it while nibbling his finger, then realized ‘Oh dear, I didn’t intend to,'” He later admitted and mentioned that this was the unique instance where the Oscar-winning actor might have been seen showing signs of discomfort.

As reported by The New York Times, during a question-and-answer session at the Rosemont Theatre in Rosemont III, Culkin disclosed that he acquired a “wound” or “mark” as a result of that particular event.

The actor revealed about never seeing the Goodfellas stars get actually terrified because he was like, “I just bit a kid.”

Even today, the Home Alone movies continue to occupy a cherished spot in many hearts and offer comfort to viewers as timeless favorites.

According to an Entertainment Tonight report, it seems that Macaulay Culkin was considering buying back the famous Winnetka, IL house, which could have given us a full-circle moment by having him return to his iconic childhood home.

In the lively Q&A session at Rosemont Theatre, I confess to entertaining the thought of purchasing a whimsical house, purely for laughs. However, as a father with a packed schedule, I ultimately decided against it due to my family commitments and my busy lifestyle.
