Daniel Goddard, renowned for his acting skills, is set to return on our television screens, this time in the popular soap opera “General Hospital.” Previously known for his role in “The Young and the Restless,” Goddard will now take on a more intriguing character, that of Henry Dalton. This environmental physics professor finds himself under investigation, as reported by Soap Opera Digest.
For individuals unfamiliar, Daniel Goddard portrayed the role of Cane Ashby on The Young and The Restless television series for approximately a dozen years, starting in 2007 and ending in 2019.

It’s common knowledge that the star of The Trisha Goddard Show took a break from acting for about three years before now.
According to an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Daniel Goddard shared that his talent manager, Michael Bruno, contacted him about trying out for the part of Jack Brennan. Interestingly, though, rather than landing that role, he ended up securing something even more fantastic instead.
In accordance with PEOPLE’s report, the makers of the series have crafted a fresh character specifically for Daniel Goddard, effectively paving the way for his return to the show.
“I was just gobsmacked by it,” the Age of Kali actor stated to Soap Opera Digest.
Daniel Goddard explained that he instructed Frank Valentini, the executive producer, “I don’t want you to share any details about the character with me.” His rationale was straightforward: Goddard wished to discover Dalton through the audience’s viewpoint and delve deeper into his own understanding of the character.
Celebrating his comeback and the General Hospital role the actor even posted a video on Instagram.
