According to The Hollywood Reporter, the storyline of Anemone primarily focuses on family ties, particularly the connections shared by fathers, sons, and brothers.

In addition to Daniel Day-Lewis, the movie’s cast features Sean Bean, recognized for his roles in Patriot Games and Game of Thrones, Samantha Morton, who was previously in The Whale, Samuel Bottomley from Ghost Stories; also, Safia Oakley-Green, famed for her part in The Lazarus Project.

Peter Kujawski, head of Focus Features, expressed immense enthusiasm about collaborating with the talented visual artist, Ronan Day-Lewis, on his debut feature film. This partnership will see him working alongside acting legend, Daniel Day-Lewis, as a creative partner.
