TMZ reports that Dakota Johnson and Chris Tucker seemed very cozy and connected throughout the night, according to a source. While neither has officially confirmed they are dating, people nearby definitely noticed a spark between them.
This public appearance follows Dakota Johnson’s recent breakup with Chris Martin of Coldplay. The pair had been in an on-again, off-again relationship since 2017 and were even engaged before calling it quits earlier this year.
News surfaced in November that Dakota has begun dating again, signaling she’s ready to move forward. Tucker, on the other hand, ended his three-year relationship with Emma Chamberlain in 2023, and it’s believed that split impacted his album, Kansas Anymore.
Dakota has been steadily working on her acting career. She starred in the films Materialists and Splitsville in 2025, and is now filming an adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s novel Verity with Josh Hartnett and Anne Hathaway. She’s remained focused on her work, even with recent dating speculation.
