The film ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ features a comeback of numerous characters originally from Fox’s X-Men series, and these appearances are what have made the movie an enormous success, smashing multiple box office milestones.
In the much awaited film, one of the standout guest appearances was by Dafne Keen, who once again took on the character of Laura, also known as X-23, a role she played in ‘Logan’ back in 2017. Be sure not to miss it!
It’s clear that Feige hinted at the start of the mutant phase in the Marvel Cinematic Universe when ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ is released, and many fans admire Keen as X-23. In fact, numerous fans have suggested that she could assume the role of the main Wolverine in the MCU.
At the Saturn Awards, Dafne Keen expressed her desire to reprise her role as X-23 in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. During the celebration of ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’s’ awards, she mentioned that she’d be thrilled if her character could star in both intimate, character-driven tales and an exhilarating team-up with the Avengers.
I’m keen on witnessing a lively collaboration between her and others, and smaller tales featuring Laura would be delightful too. I found her character in Logan particularly gripping, given its grittier tone. So, it’s exciting…However, I’d also be more than eager for an epic action-packed team up with the Avengers, if that’s ever possible.
Dafne Keen fueled the enthusiasm among fans who hoped she might assume the role of Wolverine in the Marvel Cinematic Universe following Avengers: Secret Wars. Although she didn’t make any concrete promises, she expressed that she would be “thrilled” to reprise her character—provided that Hugh Jackman’s Logan was also involved.
There’s been talk among fans that ‘Secret Wars’ might reboot the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), potentially introducing a fresh Wolverine character. However, Keen clarified that she hopes to find a role for Jackman within the storyline as well.
