Marvel Studios

Captain America: Brave New World

I had the privilege of witnessing a sneak peek at the upcoming Captain America movie, Brave New World, during the D23 Expo 2024. The same footage that was unveiled at San Diego Comic-Con 2024 was also presented at this exciting event, as reported by Discussing Films.

In a thrilling unveiling, the video captures Harrison Ford’s character, President Thaddeus Ross, speaking face-to-face with the cosmic entity Tiamut as it rises from the Earth.

The movie, directed by Julius Onah, will be released on February 14, 2025.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps

At San Diego Comic-Con 2024, we got another glimpse into the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s superhero clan. Pedro Pascal’s Reed Richards posed a question to his students about an explosion, then The Thing made an unexpected appearance on a vintage dating show, ‘The Dating Game’. Later, the team donned their space suits, but the highlight was still to come.

Visitors caught a glimpse of Galactus’s face peeking out from behind a structure, where just his eyes were seen shining through the glass windows.

Matt Shakman’s movie titled “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” is scheduled for release on July 25, 2025. Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Julia Garner, Ralph Ineson, and Pascal are among the stars featured in this film.

Agatha All Along

In addition, a new trailer for Agatha All Along has been unveiled, featuring an impressive live act. This upcoming series continues the storyline post-WandaVision, with Kathryn Hahn taking on the main role.

The opening of our nine-part series is set for September 18, 2024, where the initial two episodes will be available exclusively on Disney+.

Iron Heart

At the D23 Expo, the much-anticipated Iron Heart project was unveiled, led by director Ryan Coogler. Footage from this upcoming series was displayed during the event. In the sneak peek, Riri was seen soaring through the sky in her suit, balancing her academic life at MIT with the aftermath of Wakanda Forever’s events.

Looking at the trailer, Anthony Ramos might play the antagonist for the series.

Daredevil: Born Again

At the D23 Expo, the entire ensemble of Daredevil appeared on stage for the upcoming series titled “Daredevil: Born Again.” Additionally, participants in the event were treated to graffiti depictions of both Daredevil and the Kingpin.

At the event, they displayed clips hinting at the involvement of a White Tiger character. The upcoming series “Daredevil: Born Again” is set for release in March 2025.

Lucasfilm

Star Wars: Skeleton Crew

At D23 2024, Jude Law made an appearance at the Star Wars panel to discuss his upcoming Disney+ series, Skeleton Crew, which is set to bring him significant recognition.

The actor revealed that the show draws inspiration from both “The Goonies” and “E.T.”, and it’s narrated through the eyes of a group of children.

After the Skeleton Crew presentation, Diego Luna addressed the audience about the upcoming season of Andor. During this gathering, a preview for season two was screened, which depicted the character from Rogue One.

At a recent event called D23, it was revealed that a new film is being made, with directors Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni at the helm. During this presentation, a sneak peek of the movie showed The Mandalorian infiltrating a Snow Trooper camp, leaving the audience amazed. This exciting production is set to hit theaters on May 22, 2026.

Moana 2

At the D23 Expo, a lively Polynesian dance number served as an introduction for the screening of this film. As the performance reached its climax, Auli’i Cravalho and Dwayne Johnson, the stars of the animated movie, made their grand entrance onto the stage.

According to recent reports from Discussing Film, in the upcoming movie “Moana,” Moana is set to take on the role of Chief Leader while also having a three-year-old sister. Directed by David Derrick Jr., this film is scheduled for release on November 27, 2024.

Zootopia 2

I was utterly thrilled when I caught a sneak preview of Zooptopia 2 at the event, which turned out to be an absolute blast! The audience and I were treated to a captivating clip that showcased a vibrant hippo community, frolicking sea lions, and industrious beavers. In this upcoming installment, the tale promises to delve deep into the world of reptiles, unraveling an intriguing past steeped in mystery.

According to recent updates, Ke Huy Quan is set to lend his voice to a character named Gary, who happens to be a snake. Meanwhile, in the D23 sneak peek, both Jason Bateman’s character Nick and Ginnifer Goodwin’s character Judy were also spotted.

The film is scheduled to be released on November 26, 2025.

Frozen III

Jennifer Lee, the producer behind the Frozen series, revealed at D23 that the second film left many unanswered questions which will require two films to address. Although we’re looking forward to a fourth movie, this third one is going to focus on expanding the story’s world. The film is scheduled for release on November 25, 2026.
