As a seasoned follower of Hollywood and its intriguing antics, I must say that the recent interview between Cynthia Erivo and Dax Shepard was quite the spectacle. The actress’s grace under fire is nothing short of admirable, especially when faced with such an unusual line of questioning.
Cynthia Erivo has been garnering attention lately for her stunning nail designs, particularly during the promotion of her forthcoming film, Wicked.
In the most recent episode of the Armchair Expert podcast, the British actress found herself seated next to Dax Shepard for an interview. As the conversation flowed effortlessly, the comedian posed a question to Erivo that might have irritated anyone.
May I pose an unusual, perhaps unconventional query that might seem out of place?” This is how Dax Shepard addressed the Glowing Up artist.
With that, Shepard continued by inquiring about the cleaning routine of the actress portraying Harriet, however, Erivo cut him off by acknowledging that such a question was predictable from him.
After the performer of “When You Believe” made her point, she said, “I’d respond by saying that not everyone relies solely on their hands when they clean themselves, as tissues are commonly used instead.
In a playful manner, Dax Shepard humorously inquired from Erivo about her toilet paper usage and whether she prefers to use her fingernail tips. To his query, the “I Might Be In Love With You” singer revealed that she actually uses the pads of her fingers instead.
Yet, this incident didn’t mark the end of the actor from Employee of the Month poking at Erivo; instead, he proceeded to inquire if she found herself sensitive or ticklish when cleaning her backside region due to her long fingernails.
“The actress who was in Bad Times at the El Royale explained that she doesn’t experience those feelings due to the use of a tissue.
Later on, Shepard inquired whether Cynthia Erivo took offense at his remarks, but she confessed that she felt more irritated instead. She identified as a mature individual and someone who doesn’t have an unpleasant odor.
Discussing her intricate nail designs, the musician behind “Fly Before You Fall” was leaving everyone awestruck on the red carpet for her recent movie, Wicked, as well as during the media interviews.
Mycah Dior, her nail artist, also posted pictures of the actress’ unique nail art on Instagram, inspired by the film.
The musical fantasy “Wicked” features Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande portraying Elphaba and Glinda respectively, in the leading roles.
The film is directed by Jon M. Chu and has screenplays from Winnie Holzman and Dana Fox.
As a die-hard fan, I can’t contain my excitement for the big-screen adaptation of the legendary stage musical that goes by the same name – a masterpiece penned by none other than Stephen Schwartz and Holzman! This upcoming release marks the beginning of an epic cinematic journey, serving as the first installment in this two-part movie saga. I simply can’t wait to see my favorite songs and characters brought to life on the silver screen!
Wicked will be released on November 22, 2024.
