Right then, what ho! It appears that Bitcoin, bless its cotton socks, has been attempting a rather spirited climb, like a particularly determined mountaineer. It scaled the dizzying heights of $86,000, a feat not witnessed since April the 2nd. One might say it’s been rather sporting. 🧐

And the altcoins, those chaps, have been positively frolicking in the green, with XRP and SOL leading the charge. Jolly good show!

BTC Touches $86K (Good Heavens!)

The week, you see, has been a bit of a bumpy ride for our friend BTC. It took a bit of a nosedive – a proper trouser-soiling moment, really – from $84,000 to a rather dismal $75,000. It attempted a recovery, of course, but was promptly thwarted. Blighters! This all occurred amidst the usual international kerfuffle, with the Yanks, the Chinese, and everyone else having a jolly good barney. 🀼

However, the moment President Trump (a card, that one!) decided to pause the tariffs on everyone except China, Bitcoin decided to buck up its ideas. It zoomed upwards, like a scalded cat, tapping $83,300.

When China retaliated, BTC retreated slightly, but then, with the sort of resilience one expects from a seasoned pro, reversed course and, by yesterday, had reached a peak of $86,000. Spiffing!

Though it’s since failed to maintain that altitude and now languishes below $85,000, its market cap is up by a considerable sum on CG. And its dominance over the altcoins remains, standing tall like a particularly haughty butler, above 60%.

PI, XRP, SOL on the Rise (Oh, My!)

The altcoins, not to be outdone, are also sporting green today. ETH has managed to reclaim $1.6 after a 3% surge. XRP and SOL have marked similar increases and now trade at around $2.15 and $130, respectively. SUI and BCH have jumped by 6-7%, while PI, that cheeky little rascal, has stolen the show once again. πŸŽ‰
