It’ll definitely be different not hearing Matt Mercer as the Dungeon Master for the next *Critical Role* story. However, the trailer for *Critical Role Campaign 4* quickly reassured fans, showing Brennan Lee Mulligan expertly guiding us into a brand new world. It’s exciting and inspiring, and we’re ready to embark on this new *Critical Role* adventure in the realm of Aramán.

Brennan Lee Mulligan hints that danger is looming in *Critical Role: Campaign 4*. Twelve years after the Falconer’s Rebellion, powerful noble families are rising again, while the group that originally fought against them has lost much of its influence. The story reveals a legacy of rebellion – “our grandparents defied the gods to save their people” – and suggests a new generation is now called to fight and potentially sacrifice everything. The campaign will feature a fantastic group of players, including Laura Bailey, Taliesin Jaffe, Ashley Johnson, Liam O’Brien, Marisha Ray, Sam Riegel, Travis Willingham, and others like Luis Carazo, Robbie Daymond, Aabria Iyengar, Whitney Moore, and Alexander Ward. Brennan Lee Mulligan will be the Game Master, guiding this new adventure.

What Kind of Game System Will Critical Role Campaign 4 Use?

The popular show *Critical Role* has announced that its fourth campaign will use the latest 2024 rules for *Dungeons & Dragons*, along with some custom content created by designers Chris Perkins and Jeremy Crawford.

Players will experience the game through a unique style of play called West Marches, following the stories of three different groups – brave Soldiers, adventurous Seekers, and mysterious Schemers.
