As a seasoned gamer and avid fan of both Gotham City’s chaotic narrative and the captivating performances that bring its characters to life, I eagerly await the potential team-up between Sofia Falcone and Selina Kyle, a.k.a. Catwoman. The tantalizing hints dropped by Cristin Millioti and Lauren LeFranc have me on the edge of my seat, anticipating their electrifying collaboration.

HBO’s “The Penguin” wrapped up with a breathtaking finale on November 10, 2024, after an amazing season that spanned eight captivating episodes. Fans and critics alike were thrilled by Colin Farrell’s performance as The Penguin and Cristin Millioti’s portrayal of Sofia Falcone. Every facet of the series was appreciated and enjoyed.

In this article, we’ll discuss the upcoming possibilities of the show since it has concluded, as some of the cast members have recently shared insights about where their characters might go next. However, if you haven’t watched the final episode yet, beware of potential spoilers.

In an exclusive chat with The Direct, Cristin Millioti and Lauren LeFranc spilled some beans about the tantalizing hints dropped for the last episode of our series, along with speculations on Sofia’s role in future seasons. It seems there might be a possible alliance brewing between her and a character who’s already made waves in Matt Reeves’ Batman universe. As a dedicated gamer, I can hardly wait to see how this unfolds!

As a dedicated gamer, let me share some intriguing news about the series finale. Though I can’t spill all the beans, I’m excited to hint at a possible partnership in the future between my character and none other than Catwoman, portrayed by the talented Zoë Kravitz. It seems that our stories intertwine in ways beyond mere coincidence. When asked about this, Cristin Millioti shared her thoughts:

What I’m trying to convey is that my deepest wish is to play her again because this character has been incredibly meaningful to me. It’s almost indescribable, but it ranks among the most enjoyable experiences I’ve had. To put it simply, I can’t get enough of her. If [Sofia and Selina Kyle] were paired up, I believe we would create quite a spectacle. I can’t quite find the words… We would just ignite things, you understand? In an entertaining manner. I have this feeling that we’d have a fantastic time together.

They additionally inquired about the possibility of Sofia joining forces with Batman to defeat The Penguin, given recent events, to which she responded unequivocally: No.

I think I would team up with Selena against all of them, yeah? Like, I think we can handle it.

However, similar to Millioti, Lauren LeFranc was also invited to express her thoughts regarding this potential collaboration. Interestingly, her response was equally extensive, offering a unique viewpoint on the subject.

What matters most to me is wrapping up Sofia’s emotional arc during the season. It seems fitting that she struggles to find her place within this family, as they have deceived and treated her disgracefully; the actions against her are so unfathomable that she feels utterly lost and believes she no longer has a family.

In the end, Sophia sadly ends up losing. The story, however, belongs to Oz. He ascends to greatness, but at a personal and collective price. This leaves me wishing for a glimmer of hope for Sophia.

From my perspective, Selina embodies a beacon of hope due to our shared blood ties. She’s a glimmer of potential family that Sophia hasn’t lost yet. In her world, she believes everyone close to her is either deceased or gone, but she’s mistaken. This tiny glimmer of truth we reveal at the end serves as a sliver of hope for Sophia and us alike.
