What can we expect in Scream 7 now that Sidney Prescott has a daughter? It’s hard to say for sure, but the latest trailer makes it clear that Isabel May, who plays Sidney’s daughter, is Ghostface’s main target. The big question is: who is behind the mask this time? While some familiar faces from previous Scream movies are returning, we’re guessing it’s still a real person causing trouble. It seems Sidney’s personal demons are just that – internal struggles. Although a supernatural twist wouldn’t be unwelcome, the film appears to be sticking to its roots.
Currently, the only confirmed details about Scream 7 come from the official trailer synopsis. It reveals that a new Ghostface appears in the town where Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) is trying to live a peaceful life. This time, the killer targets Sidney’s daughter (Isabel May), forcing Sidney to confront her past traumas and stop the violence for good.
It might seem strange to say “once and for all,” but we’re actually excited about another Scream movie! Bring on the scares and Ghostface, no matter how many times he returns. Scream 7 hits theaters on February 27, 2025.
