As a fervent admirer of Selling Sunset and Christine Quinn’s captivating persona, I can’t help but be enthralled by her latest Instagram escapade aboard that luxurious yacht. It seems she’s taking the high seas (and the high road) with a witty quip about her ex-husband’s follicular predicament – a subtle reminder that life goes on, and so does her fabulousness!
In a recently posted Instagram video on Thursday, Christine Quinn seemed to be having fun and subtly criticizing her former spouse, Christian Richard. The Selling Sunset alumna was seen relaxing on a spacious yacht’s couch amidst stunning azure waters in the video she shared.
In the video, Quinn initially wrote, “Don’t forget, as you heal, he’s losing his hair.” Later, in the comments, he corrected it to read, “Still Losing Hair” (smiling bald emoji).
In the video, Quinn, aged 35, donned a petite pink bikini while the tune “360” by Charli XCX played. To express her journey towards recovery and optimism, she utilized green heart and apple emojis.
Presently, Quinn is navigating a challenging separation from Richard. He initiated the divorce proceedings in April, stating “insurmountable disagreements” as the reason and seeking full legal and residential custody of their 3-year-old boy, Christian Georges Dumontet.
Richard made a move to end his marriage shortly following an incident where he was taken into custody for allegedly attempting to use a dangerous object – in this case, a glass bottle – in an assault at their residence in Los Angeles. The story goes that he aimed for Quinn but missed, striking their son instead. After the initial arrest, he was set free, yet found himself detained once more just two days later due to his disregard of a restraining order by returning to the same house.
In his court papers, Richard asserted that he’s never made threats of violence or acted in a manner that could be interpreted as violent towards Miss Quinn.
Quinn has accused Richard of spying on her by hiding small cameras and Apple AirTags around their home. She also claimed he hired a security guard and, later, another person to intimidate and harass her while she was still living in the house.
In March, Richard faced formal accusations for child abuse, assault, and disregarding a protection order following certain incidents. This week, Richard petitioned a judge to momentarily remove the restraining order so he could enter the house. He explained that he had received a utility bill exceeding 10,000 USD and asserted his lawyers had attempted to communicate with Quinn’s legal representatives about this matter, but they failed to respond.
Richard, being the owner of the property, has been hit with regular fines by local officials due to his failure to maintain the house properly. Additionally, he’s asked for a monthly payment of $29,000 from Quinn if she wishes to carry on residing within the house.
