Corey Harrison Injured in Motorcycle accident Misses Fathers Wedding due to horrific crash

I was really shocked to hear that Corey Harrison, or “Big Hoss” as a lot of us fans call him from the History show, was seriously hurt in a motorcycle accident. He shared some photos from the hospital on Monday, January 26th, and it looks like he’s got a long road to recovery ahead of him. I’m definitely sending him all my best wishes!

He shared that he broke 11 ribs, but believes the protective bars on his motorcycle saved him from much worse injuries.

Harrison was involved in a motorcycle accident in Tulum, Mexico, where he’s been living since leaving television. He said he was seriously injured, but is now recovering, after spending three nights in the hospital. The crash, which happened while he was riding his Harley-Davidson, resulted in broken ribs, a concussion, and a hematoma. He also needed ten stitches in his hand and will be required to rest for six weeks.

Corey unfortunately had to miss his father Rick Harrison’s big wedding party in Cancun due to an accident. Rick and his wife, Agripina “Angie” Polushkin, officially got married in a small ceremony in Las Vegas on January 3rd, but the larger celebration with family and friends was planned for this week.

Corey announced on social media that he unfortunately won’t be able to attend his father’s wedding. However, a spokesperson said Rick was able to see his son in the hospital right before the wedding celebrations started.

Even though he’s hurting, Corey seems to be doing well and has said he’ll explain what happened to his fans soon. He’s planning a special episode of his new show, The Corey Harrison Show, to share all the details about the crash. Being open and honest like this has become typical for Corey as he moves forward with his life and career outside of the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop in Las Vegas.

I was really surprised to hear that Corey Harrison ended up moving to Tulum in late 2025! Apparently, he just wanted to step away from being the guy we all saw on TV. He’s said he felt like he was constantly playing a younger version of himself, and it was time to focus on his real life. He actually started a podcast, The Corey Harrison Show, back in July 2025, and it’s been cool to hear him talk openly about everything – his past, what it was like being in the public eye, and now, his new life in Mexico.

Rick Harrison continues to lead the family business and is working on a new version of their popular show, currently called Pawn Stars 2.0. The original Pawn Stars stopped filming new episodes in early 2025.

Rick has hinted that the show will feature both familiar deal-making and new business projects, like his popular BBQ restaurant, Rick’s Rollin’ Smoke BBQ & Tavern. Austin “Chumlee” Russell is likely to be back, but Corey has stated he doesn’t intend to return as a full-time cast member.
