Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 3: When and Where You Can Stream Finale of the Karate Kid Spin-Off

Trigger warning: This article contains mentions of death.

Netflix’s popular show Cobra Kai is wrapping up after a run of six fantastic seasons! The initial installments of its last chapter have already premiered on the streaming service, generating anticipation for the remaining two parts.

As a fanatic who’s been counting down the days (or should I say hours now!), here’s an exciting update: The long-awaited part 3 is finally dropping in a matter of days! Mark your calendars for February 13, because that’s when it will be streaming exclusively on Netflix, starting at 12:01 am PT. Can’t wait to immerse myself in the action once again!

Warning: Cobra Kai season 6 plot points revealed below! So far, the sequel series to The Karate Kid focuses on the Sekai Taikai, a world karate championship in which Johnny Lawrence, Daniel LaRusso, and Chozen Toguchi are leading their students to compete against top-tier martial artists.

Nevertheless, the highly esteemed international competition took a grim turn following Kwon’s startling demise in the latter half of season 6. Fans who have been on tenterhooks for months about this cliffhanger will now get the resolution they’ve been waiting for.

One noteworthy element of the last season involved the reconciliation between Johnny (William Zabka) and Daniel (Ralph Macchio). After settling their past disputes, they united to confront a significant conflict that threatened them both.

As the surprising outcome of the Sekai Taikai unfolds, I find myself reflecting on my past, Miyagi-Do and Cobra Kai included, while navigating a future that remains unpredictable, not only on the mat but also beyond it.

In January 2024, Netflix revealed that the concluding chapter of the popular series “Cobra Kai” would be divided into three installments, with the grand finale set for release in February 2025. The creative team behind the show opted for this structure to expand runtime and deliver a more extensive narrative, encompassing fifteen extended episodes.

Additionally, this season incorporates numerous nods to the Karate Kid movie series, set within this imaginary world. For instance, Daniel’s visit to his old mentor Mr. Miyagi’s grave and a scene contrasting old and new footage of the same characters are clear references to the mentioned film franchise.
