Crunchyroll has unexpectedly taken down the anime series Claymore, leaving fans with fewer options for watching it legally.
Many anime fans, particularly those who appreciate classic shows, have always loved Claymore. It’s been a popular title in Shonen Jump for a long time.
Recent reports, including one from @MangaAlerts on X, indicate the anime has been removed from Crunchyroll’s website. However, it’s still accessible through Crunchyroll’s apps on platforms like YouTube Premium and Roku as of today.
If an anime series has been completely taken down, it might not stay on streaming services for much longer.
Crunchyroll no longer has Claymore available for streaming. While you might still be able to find it on their Amazon or Roku channels for now, that access could be removed at any time. As far as we know, there are currently no other legal ways to watch the anime.

The show was likely removed because its licensing agreement ended. Streaming services often have to take content down temporarily while they negotiate new licensing deals. This happens fairly often, and unfortunately, older shows like Claymore are sometimes affected.
Viewers can still buy the series on platforms like Apple TV, but it’s not as easy as watching it on Crunchyroll.
Fans who used the service to watch anime, both current and classic, will definitely miss having Claymore available.
