Cillian Murphy and his wife, Yvonne McGuinness, recently made a rare public appearance together at the BAFTA Film Awards. The couple, who have been together for three decades, looked stylish on the red carpet in matching black outfits at London’s Royal Festival Hall. Murphy, 49, wore a classic double-breasted blazer, while McGuinness, a talented visual artist, chose an elegant satin jumpsuit.

The night was especially memorable for Irish talent, as Murphy presented the Best Actress award to Jessie Buckley. Buckley’s win for her role in The Thirsty Earth was historic – she’s the first Irish woman to ever win in that category at the BAFTAs. Murphy often acknowledges the support of his wife, crediting her with providing the grounding he needs amidst his worldwide fame.

They have since raised their two sons, Malachy and Aran, largely shielded from the attention of the paparazzi in London and Los Angeles.
