Christina Applegate is loving her recent glamorous look, and she’s sharing how she achieved it. After reuniting with her former Married… with Children castmates at a Los Angeles event on January 28th, the 52-year-old actress thanked her beauty team online. She especially praised her makeup artist for creating the exact “mermaid” style she wanted.
Christina Applegate, known for her sense of humor, described how the photoshoot came together. While professionals did her makeup and styled her outfit, a friend helped with her hair and some minor photo touch-ups. She said the evening was incredibly enjoyable and thanked David Faustino for organizing everything. Applegate, who looked chic in gray pants and a patterned top, explained that everyone really needed a fun night out.
Nearly three decades after “Married… with Children” ended its eleven-season run, the cast reunited for an event called “An Evening with The Bundys.” Christina Applegate, Ed O’Neill, and Katey Sagal – who played the Bundy family on screen – were all present, and David Faustino, who played their son Bud, helped host the evening. Faustino shared before the event that he and Applegate remain close friends and speak often, especially as she deals with multiple sclerosis.

Faustino observed that even though Applegate is dealing with the physical difficulties of her illness, her personality hasn’t changed. He described her as still being very witty and dry, and noted that she uses her humor to cope with tough times.
The event was a heartwarming reunion for fans and also a fundraiser for the Race to Erase MS foundation, a charity Applegate chose because of the important research they do.
Since being diagnosed in 2021, the actress has been very open about the challenges of living with a condition that gets worse over time. She shared in an interview that each day is incredibly difficult and she rarely goes out due to constant pain and exhaustion. However, during a recent event, she confidently used her cane as part of her performance, showing everyone she still has the same captivating stage presence her fans remember.
Christina Applegate is currently prioritizing projects she can do from home while focusing on her health. She’s releasing a very personal memoir, You With the Sad Eyes, in March, where she shares stories from her long career and her experiences overcoming personal and health challenges. Although a planned reboot of Married… with Children was canceled last year, she still connects with fans through her popular “MeSsy” podcast with Jamie-Lynn Sigler.
