Chris Pratt Finally Reveals His Top Spider-Man

Chris Pratt recently shared his thoughts on superheroes, and he clearly admires Tom Holland. While talking about his latest movie, Pratt said Holland is his favorite actor to play Spider-Man.

I recently spoke with Josh Horowitz, and the conversation turned to Chris Pratt. He’s currently promoting his new science fiction film, Mercy, but keeps getting asked about his role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe – and it’s hard for him to avoid those questions.

Chris Pratt is famous for his role as Peter Quill, or Star-Lord, and now it’s difficult to picture anyone else playing the part. However, when he was first cast in 2013, it was a surprising choice for a lot of people.

Chris Pratt confessed to Howard Stern that he wasn’t in good physical condition when he initially met with Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige. He explained he’d put on a lot of weight for his role in the comedy film Delivery Man, and had even reached 300 pounds while working on the movie with Vince Vaughn.

I heard the biggest question for Chris Pratt when he was being considered for the role was whether he could get into amazing shape. Apparently, Kevin Feige showed him a picture of how ripped he was in Zero Dark Thirty and just asked him straight up, ‘Can you get back to looking like that?’ It was a pretty direct way to see if he was committed to the physical demands of the part!

Pratt really wanted the job, so he confidently stated he could prepare quickly. When Feige told him he’d have six or seven months, Pratt felt certain he could deliver.

He remembered thinking to himself, “I’m going to beat that guy in seven months.” On his drive home, the studio called with a job offer, and he was stunned – it felt like a dream.

Before Chris Pratt became famous as Star-Lord, he auditioned for several other superhero roles. He didn’t get the parts of Captain America or a role in Thor, and he even submitted a tape hoping to play Superman in Man of Steel.

He filmed his audition for Superman at his mother’s home in Washington. Now, he admits he wouldn’t have chosen himself for the role. He even jokingly said, “I wouldn’t cast that guy as Superman!”

With James Gunn now leading DC Studios, speculation has been rampant. Some fans wondered if Chris Pratt might move over to play Batman, but Pratt quickly dismissed the idea with a humorous anecdote.

He emailed Gunn a digitally altered picture of himself as Batman. Gunn simply replied with, “Haha.”

Chris Pratt has admitted he doesn’t believe he’s suited to play Batman. He stated simply, “I don’t think I would be right for that,” and feels there have been enough Batman movies already, so he’s not interested in taking on the role.

Chris Pratt has achieved significant success since starting his career in Hollywood. He first gained recognition for his charming and humorous role as Andy Dwyer on the popular sitcom Parks and Recreation, which ran for seven seasons and established him as a comedic actor.

Chris Pratt first showed his ability to lead an action movie in Jurassic World. His role as Owen Grady throughout the three films earned billions of dollars, establishing him as a major box office star.

Chris Pratt has quickly become a prominent figure in animated films. He recently lent his voice to the famous character Mario in The Super Mario Bros. Movie, which was a huge success worldwide for Nintendo and Illumination.

He also voiced Garfield in the new Garfield Movie. Even though he’s known for family-friendly roles, he continues to work on more intense projects. He currently stars in and produces The Terminal List on Amazon Prime Video.

I just finished watching this series, and wow, it really delivers. The lead actor is fantastic as a Navy SEAL driven by revenge, and it’s no surprise it became a massive success for the streaming platform. The good news? They’re already working on a prequel – clearly, audiences are clamoring for more of this story!

He’s currently working on his new film, Mercy, a science fiction thriller. It’s set in the near future, in a world where serious crime is on the rise.

In this film, Pratt stars as a detective wrongly accused of a serious crime. He’s forced to clear his name while facing perilous situations. The movie is directed by Timur Bekmambetov, a filmmaker celebrated for his distinctive and innovative visuals.

Audiences are thrilled Pratt is back in a science fiction role. He skillfully juggles action films, comedies, and voice acting projects. When he’s not working, he’s a devoted family man who enjoys spending time at his farm.

We’re curious to hear your thoughts: would you like to see Chris Pratt reprise his role as Star-Lord, or would you prefer he take on a different superhero character? Let us know in the comments!
