As a long-time fan of the Transformers franchise, I was absolutely thrilled when I heard that a new animated film, Transformers One, was on its way. The release of the latest trailer only intensified my excitement as it offered a unique perspective – showcasing the origins of two of the most iconic characters in the series: Optimus Prime and Megatron.


On Friday morning, a fresh trailer for the upcoming animated film “Transformers One” was unveiled, bringing joy to longtime fans of the beloved Transformers series. This trailer made its first appearance at the 2024 San Diego Comic-Con, where attendees were additionally treated with three lengthy previews offering a deeper insight into the movie.

I’m absolutely thrilled about this upcoming film that takes us on a journey three billion years before the Michael Bay Transformers saga, even before the legendary fall of Cybertron, homeworld of our beloved robotic heroes. In the trailer, we get a sneak peek into the past friendship between Chris Hemsworth’s Orion Pax and Brian Tyree Henry’s D-16. These two were once inseparable, but as the scenes unfold, we begin to see their bond unravel. To us today, they are Optimus Prime and Megatron – friends turned bitter enemies. The anticipation is killing me!

In an engaging animated short titled “Transformers One,” we explore the origins of Optimus Prime and Megatron, two legendary characters from the Transformers franchise. By delving into their past, this production seeks to reveal how their once strong friendship evolved into a famous enmity. Joining the star-studded cast is Scarlett Johansson, lending her voice to the Transformer character Elita.
