Chris Hemsworth is preparing for “Avengers: Doomsday” and recently expressed gratitude towards fans for their support during his 15-year journey portraying Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
On his YouTube channel, Hemsworth shares thoughts about the impact of his role so far and hints at future developments as Marvel Cinematic Universe gears up for its most monumental fight yet.

What about Thor 5?
In our latest encounter with Hemsworth as Thor, it was in the movie “Thor: Love and Thunder,” where he faced off against Gorr the Destroyer of Gods, also known as the God Butcher.
According to the official Marvel statement and as previously mentioned, it’s been confirmed that Chris Hemsworth will reprise his role in “Avengers: Endgame” and is expected to appear in “Secret Wars” as well.
Thor 5 rumors: George Miller, less goofy, darker, Tom Hiddleston
There has been chatter about Thor 5.
Reports indicate that George Miller, known for directing Charlize Theron in Mad Max: Fury Road, has expressed a desire to helm Thor 5. It was Chris Hemsworth who arranged the meeting between Miller and Marvel Studios’ Kevin Feige.
It’s said that this upcoming project will take a more serious and less humorous direction compared to “Love and Thunder,” and it’s also been mentioned that the young girl from “Love and Thunder” won’t make an appearance.
It’s been mentioned that Taika Waititi won’t be the director, and there are rumors that Thor 5 might feature Chris Hemsworth reprising his role as Thor alongside Tom Hiddleston returning as Loki, who is set to appear in Doomsday as well.
Avengers: Doomday & Secret Wars Release info

Marvel Studios has shifted the release dates, with “Avengers: Doomsday” now scheduled for release on December 18, 2026, instead of its original date in May 1.
