As a long-time fan who’s seen more Marvel movies than I care to count, I can’t help but be intrigued by this mysterious scene from ‘Deadpool & Wolverine.’ Chris Hemsworth‘s coy response only adds fuel to the fire, leaving us fans in a state of perpetual speculation.
The recently unveiled ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ from the Marvel Cinematic Universe is currently one of the highest-grossing movies in recent times. A major factor contributing to its success is the strategic incorporation of cameos and a multitude of hidden references, or Easter eggs, scattered across the movie.
In a specific moment, Mr. Paradox from TVA exhibits a screen with Thor shedding tears, leaning over Deadpool’s monitor. Immediately afterwards, Mr. Paradox alters the scene, stating that Deadpool wasn’t meant to witness such a sight.
Despite Reynolds suggesting he’s privy to the explanation for Thor’s tears, he hasn’t disclosed it openly yet, causing fans to often inquire about the emotional scene from Chris Hemsworth.
During an interview with Black Girl Nerds, Hemsworth was questioned yet again about that specific instance. He hinted that further details might be disclosed at a later time.
“Let me ask you this again, I’m still unsure. But since we’re talking about the Marvel Universe, maybe the answer will come to light someday.
@heychalice I got to ask @Chris Hemsworth the question we all want the answer to… why is Thor crying? Full interview on @blackgirlnerds YouTube and site! @TRANSFORMERS in theaters 9/14! #transformersone #chrishemsworth #briantyreehenry @Paramount Pictures ♬ original sound – HeyChalice
Without a definitive reason given, fans have concocted their own speculations. One theory posits that Deadpool may meet his end during ‘Secret Wars.’ In the ‘Secret Wars’ narrative, serving as a basis for the upcoming movie, the Thor Corps functioned as the law enforcement of Battleworld, implying that multiple versions of Thor could significantly feature in the film.
In a different narrative titled ‘Deadpool’s Hidden Secret Wars,’ Deadpool is part of the 1984 Secret Wars, but due to an unintended oversight, his participation seems to have been omitted in the Marvel Cinematic Universe or possibly erased by the Time Variance Authority.
However, it’s also possible that the scene is just a joke and doesn’t have any deeper significance.
