Chris Hemsworth’s recent training was for his new movie, Crime 101, which came out in theaters on February 13th. In the film, he plays Davis, a talented jewel thief involved in risky heists along the California coast. During interviews, Hemsworth explained he used all of his driving skills – even those from his previous role in Rush – to make the action sequences feel realistic. The movie also features Halle Berry as a tough insurance broker and Mark Ruffalo as the detective trying to catch Davis.
Chris Hemsworth is preparing to reprise his role as Thor in the upcoming Marvel film, Avengers: Doomsday, which is set to be released on December 18th. Following the comedic style of Love and Thunder, Hemsworth hinted that the next Thor movie will be more serious and realistic. He mentioned in a podcast that he and Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige have discussed plans for a fresh and distinctive approach to the character.
Chris Hemsworth says he’s in great shape now because he’s changed how he approaches fitness, focusing just as much on recovery as on intense workouts. He told Men’s Health that pushing himself too hard used to keep his body constantly stressed. Now, he uses his Centr app to do 45-minute strength training sessions and then recovers with ice baths.
In addition to his current work, Chris Hemsworth plans to start filming the third Extraction movie later this year. He’ll be working again with director Sam Hargrave, and reports suggest this will be his most challenging physical role to date.
Chris Hemsworth remains a popular figure in the fashion world, regularly appearing at events in New York despite also spending time at home in Australia. He’s proven to be a remarkably adaptable actor, seamlessly transitioning between roles like a tough criminal and a powerful superhero, showcasing both his acting skills and impressive physicality.
With the success of Crime 101 and several major roles with Marvel and Netflix on the horizon, 2026 promises to be a huge year for Hemsworth. He’s constantly challenging himself with his training and acting, and fans are eagerly anticipating what he’ll do next.
