Chris Evans Feels ‘Sad’ to Be Left Out of Avengers Doomsday: ‘You Weren’t Invited to the Party…’

Chris Evans, who’s famous for portraying Steve Rogers/Captain America in Marvel films, has spoken out on his absence in the upcoming movie, Avengers: Doomsday. In an interview with Screen Rant, he expressed his feelings about not being part of this new film, which also welcomes Robert Downey Jr.’s return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

After his last appearance in the 2019 blockbuster Avengers: Endgame, Evans parted ways with Marvel. Since then, the role of Captain America and the iconic shield have passed to Anthony Mackie, who will debut as the superhero in Captain America: Brave New World.

During a chat with a media outlet, Evans casually hinted that his fellow cast members from The Gifted might be up to something fantastic. When asked about staying connected with his Marvel colleagues, he simply replied, “I talk to them regularly.

Evans expressed, “Pedro [Pascal] is currently there. It’s a bit sad not to be with the group right now.” He added, “It’s a pity I can’t join them again, but I’m confident they’re creating something amazing. And when it’s released, I’ll feel like I wasn’t included in the celebration.

In the upcoming film titled “Materialists,” the actor famous for starring in “Not Another Teen Movie” will join forces with Pascal on screen. Notably, Pascal is set to represent Marvel characters in the movie “Fantastic Four: First Steps.

In addition to his appearance, Pascal is reportedly featured prominently in the movie Avengers: Endgame, sharing the screen with Chris Hemsworth, Vanessa Kirby, Tom Hiddleston, Paul Rudd, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, and a host of other stars.
