Chris Evans denies the claims he is returning in Avengers: Doomsday for a big Marvel return.
Under the leadership of Joe and Anthony Russo once again for “Avengers: Doomsday” and “Secret Wars”, it’s been suggested that they are gathering their team once more. Officially confirmed, Robert Downey Jr. is rejoining the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The rumors indicate Chris Evans will return as well. Additionally, there are reports suggesting Haley Atwell will be back too.

Mackie said:
A couple of weeks ago, I spoke with Chris and at that time, the topic wasn’t discussed. He didn’t mention it to me because I specifically asked about it. When I inquired, I said something like, ‘I heard they’re bringing everyone back for the movie. Are you coming back too?’
“He goes, ‘Oh, you know, I’m happily retired.’ ”
