Chris Brown’s Bail Granted for 6.3M USD by London Court, Singer Cleared to Launch 2025 World Tour Despite Nightclub Ass*ult Charges

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I’m excited to share that Chris Brown has been granted bail in the UK, allowing him to proceed with his world tour following an alleged incident at a nightclub back in February 2023. The details involve Chris, unfortunately, being accused of assaulting music producer Abe Diaw using a bottle within the premises of Tape nightclub, situated in Mayfair, London.

Last week, Brown was taken into custody at the luxurious Lowry Hotel in Manchester following his arrival via a private aircraft. On Friday, he made an appearance at Manchester Magistrates’ Court where he was indicted for one case of severe bodily harm. The court listened to allegations that Brown assaulted Diaw repeatedly with a bottle, pursued him afterward, and then attacked and kicked him together with another individual.

According to reports from The Sun, Judge Joanne Hirst found the case against Chris Brown so severe that she ordered him to be temporarily held in custody. Later on, he was allowed bail after making another request in London.

At Southwark Crown Court, Judge Tony Baumgartner decided to grant bail to Brown, but under specific terms. A sum of $6.3 million in total is required as security for the court. Before his release, Brown must pay $5 million, and within a week, he must deposit an additional $1.3 million.

The twice Grammy-winning artist is required to reside at an address recognized by the court, forbid any communication with co-defendant Omolulu Akinlolu and the complainant, Mr. Diaw, and is barred from entering Tape nightclub in London.

The court instructed Brown to hand over his passport and travel papers to make sure he follows the rules. Yet, there’s a provision that lets him travel abroad for concerts.

Chris Brown’s Breezy Bowl XX world tour is all set to kick off on June 8 in Amsterdam, Netherlands, as scheduled. The UK part of the tour will commence in Manchester on June 15 at the Co-op Live stadium, with subsequent performances in Cardiff, London, Birmingham, and Glasgow following suit.

Starting from late July, his North American tour extends till October 19, wrapping up in Memphis. Whenever Brown requires travel for a performance, his passport is provided to him by a legal representative and subsequently picked up at the destination by yet another legal representative.

Brown is set to be in court on June 20 at Southwark Crown Court for a Plea and Trial Preparation Hearing that corresponds with his co-defendant’s court date. Another hearing called Case Management has been scheduled for October 24, requiring him to travel back to the UK.
