Given its $80 million production budget, Ne Zha 2 is projected to generate at least $2 billion in China, a feat that would make it one of only seven movies to ever achieve such success.
Once all the dust settles, it’s likely that Ne Zha 2 will stand alongside blockbusters like Titanic, Avatar, and their sequels which have surpassed the $2 billion mark worldwide. It may even outshine Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens and Avengers: Infinity War in terms of global box office earnings. As of now, it doesn’t have a Rotten Tomatoes critic score, but its audience rating is an astounding 99%.
