Chase Infiniti turned heads at the Actor Awards on Sunday, March 1st. It was her first time attending as a nominee twice over, and also as someone presenting an award. The 25-year-old actress perfectly captured the night’s “Reimagining Hollywood Glamour” theme with a stunning, custom-made nude gown. The dress featured intricate, sparkling beadwork, and she accessorized with a matching beaded headpiece, completing her soft and elegant look.
Infiniti is attending the awards show, previously called the SAG Awards, following the widespread praise for her role as Willa Ferguson in Paul Thomas Anderson’s film, One Battle After Another. She received two nominations: one for Best Actress and another as part of the film’s entire cast. Despite the attention her nominations are bringing, the actress seems very down-to-earth about her quick rise to fame.

Infiniti recently told ELLE magazine that despite her active online life, she’s still able to avoid being noticed in public most of the time. She explained that people usually only recognize her by her hair, and she can easily blend in by wearing braids or twists.
The actress, originally from Indianapolis, says she’s managed this exciting but challenging time in her career thanks to advice from experienced people in the industry. She specifically mentioned Ruth Negga, Teyana Taylor, and Regina Hall as mentors who’ve helped her as a Black woman working in Hollywood. She shared, “I’m so grateful to have three incredible mentors who are so successful in their careers, personal lives, and relationships.”
Before landing major roles, she studied musical theatre at Columbia College Chicago, graduating in 2022. She first gained recognition in the Apple TV+ series Presumed Innocent, playing the daughter of Jake Gyllenhaal’s character. This role helped her get noticed, eventually leading to a six-month audition process for Paul Thomas Anderson’s newest film.
Her career is continuing to gain impressive traction, with several major projects on the horizon. She recently finished filming The Testaments, the sequel to The Handmaid’s Tale for Hulu, where she plays a central character named Agnes.
She’s also starring in The Julia Set, a coming-of-age story alongside Gillian Anderson and Christopher Briney, playing a gifted young mathematician. Beyond acting, she’s also making waves in music and fashion.
Despite her packed schedule, she still values her background in theater and hopes to perform on Broadway someday. For now, she’s solidifying her position as one of the most talented and exciting new stars in film.
