Charlie Cox has cancelled his planned visit to SpaceCon San Antonio. This comes after Jon Bernthal also cancelled his appearance at New York Comic Con, leading to increased rumors that both actors are currently filming Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Cox Cancels SpaceCon
SpaceCon announced on Instagram that Cox had to drop out of the event scheduled for October 24–26:
CHARLIE COX agreed to star in a new movie…… but because of his busy filming schedule – he had to cancel his SPACECON appearance.
This news supports the recent speculation that Cox will reprise his role as Daredevil in Spider-Man: Brand New Day and travel to the UK to film scenes with Tom Holland.

Bernthal Pulled Out of NYCC
This announcement follows New York Comic Con’s statement that Jon Bernthal, known for his role as The Punisher, was unable to attend due to scheduling issues with his current projects:
We’re sorry to announce that Jon Bernthal is no longer able to attend NYCC 2025 due to conflicts with his filming schedule. We’re hoping he can join us at a future event. If you bought a photo op or autograph specifically with Jon, or a photo featuring Daredevil and The Punisher together, Epic will be in touch with you soon regarding a full refund. Keep an eye out for more news, NYCC fans! We’re about to announce a NEW guest!
With Jon Bernthal no longer appearing and now Charlie Cox also backing out of SpaceCon, it increasingly looks like these actors are currently filming scenes for their Marvel projects together. The timing of both cancellations strongly indicates they’re on set.
