Charli stars as a fictionalized version of herself, portraying the challenges of being a musician. She described her character as a darker take on her own persona, and told festival reporters that the story felt like the most honest portrayal of the music industry she’d ever encountered.
The film stars Alexander Skarsgård, Rosanna Arquette, Kate Berlant, Jamie Demetriou, Hailey Benton Gates, and Isaac Powell. It also includes brief appearances from celebrities like Kylie Jenner, Rachel Sennott, and Julia Fox. Charli is growing her career beyond just making music.
