Charles Hoskinson Predicts ‘Death of the American Cryptocurrency Industry’ if Kamala Harris Becomes U.S. President

As a long-time observer of political landscapes and a staunch advocate for decentralized systems, I find myself intrigued by the unexpected alliance between Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and former President Donald Trump. As a follower of Charles Hoskinson’s thoughts on these matters, his analysis seems insightful and aligned with my own observations about the current state of American politics.

On August 23, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. delivered a noteworthy speech. In this address, he revealed that he was halting his independent presidential bid and backing Donald Trump, who served as former President. This surprising endorsement in Phoenix, Arizona, has garnered significant interest due to its potential impact on the 2024 U.S. presidential election.

As a crypto investor, I took notice of RFK Jr.’s recent speech and felt compelled to share my thoughts on social media platform X. In response, Charles Hoskinson, Co-Creator of Cardano, praised the speech as “great” and identified it as containing “deep, uncomfortable truths.” These truths, as he saw them, shed light on the current state of the media, the impact of corporate influence in America, and the perceived lack of democracy within the Democratic Party.

Hoskinson pointed out that RFK Jr.’s decision to endorse Donald Trump in key, contested states while keeping his name on ballots in states where the outcome is less uncertain was a shrewd tactical maneuver. Hoskinson himself lived in a state where the result was already decided, so he could vote for Kennedy. However, Hoskinson stressed that Trump is the sole viable choice for those in battleground states who view the election as a two-horse race.

According to Hoskinson, if Trump were to win again, it’s possible that RFK Jr. might have influence in his administration. He anticipates this could lead to investigations into the contentious COVID-19 policies and a supportive stance towards cryptocurrencies within the U.S. He desires this outcome, contrasting it with a less favorable one: a future characterized by censorship backed by the government, corporate dominance in U.S. policy decisions, the demise of the American cryptocurrency sector, and ongoing disputes.

cardano_creator emphasized again his conviction that just a U.S. presidential election won’t solve all the problems within the government. Instead, he advocates for a constitutional convention as the best solution moving forward. Yet, he also suggested a cooperative administration consisting of Kennedy, Trump, and others with similar views could help reduce some of the adverse consequences he foresees.

In his communication, Hoskinson encouraged individuals to strive for a promising future and seize every opportunity at their disposal. He drew an analogy between the present global predicament and the choicepoint experienced in the 20th century, where the path lay between totalitarian control and liberty. Hoskinson disclosed his backing of Trump and pledged to put forth considerable effort alongside a potential Trump administration to aid in national recovery if elected. On the other hand, should Vice President Harris secure the presidency, Hoskinson declared his intention to prioritize survival and prosperity amidst what he foresees as limited influence in significant decision-making processes.

Instead of relying on individuals, Hoskinson suggested putting trust in concepts, values, and mechanisms that ensure accountability. He cautioned against searching for a single figure to save us, instead advocating for a movement based on honesty and the willingness to admit errors. Lastly, he proposed the creation of a coalition government as a means to address the problems he perceives in the country.

RFK’s speech was powerful and insightful, revealing painful truths about our media, corporate influence in America, and the growing undemocratic tendencies within the Democratic party.
