Charithra Chandran attended the premiere of ‘One Piece: Into the Grand Line’ alongside fans and fellow cast members. This event signals the beginning of a new phase for the live-action series, as it heads towards a major storyline.
The Straw Hat crew’s adventure continues as they enter the Grand Line, facing new dangers and beginning important story arcs. This section of their journey leads them towards Drum Island and the unfolding events surrounding the kingdom of Alabasta.
Voice actress Colleen Clinkenbeard, who voices both Miss Wednesday and Nefertari Vivi, has discussed how she prepared to work on the series based on Eiichiro Oda’s creation. She emphasized the importance of the original manga to the cast and crew, explaining that it’s their primary source material, while the anime serves as additional support.

She explained her place within the larger narrative of One Piece, describing herself as a small but beautiful piece of a much bigger puzzle.
She was surprised by how realistic the production was. According to her, the sets and action in One Piece are genuinely practical and feel very real.
Besides her work on the main series, Chandran has been in a few other projects. She’s appeared in Dune: Prophecy and the action comedy Fight or Flight alongside Josh Hartnett, as well as the film Christmas Karma. Many people first became aware of her through her role in Bridgerton.
The crew from last season—Iñaki Godoy, Mackenyu, Emily Rudd, Jacob Romero, and Taz Skylar—are back. This season also welcomes new faces like Joe Manganiello, Katey Sagal, David Dastmalchian, and Lera Abova.
The first two episodes will premiere in theaters on March 10, 2026, in the US, Canada, and Japan. Filming is still underway in South Africa to continue the story.
Netflix has confirmed they’ve already started making a third season, and Eiichiro Oda, the creator of the original manga, is still helping to shape how the story is adapted for the show.
