The 45-year-old actor posted a selfie showing a large scar on his right shoulder, admitting he was surprised by how noticeable it was – he’d expected something smaller and less visible. It’s a reminder of the physical demands of being an action star.

Channing Tatum, known for his humor, playfully blamed himself for a misunderstanding about his shoulder surgery. He admitted he’d expected just a couple of small incisions, but ended up with a larger one.

Even though the scar was bigger than anticipated, Tatum stayed positive. He shared with his fans that he actually likes scars and is happy to say his shoulder is getting stronger each day.

Jayson Tatum has been dealing with a separated shoulder since early February, which needed surgery to fix. He’s joked about the screw now in his shoulder, playfully suggesting it might set off metal detectors at the airport. Tatum shared a photo from the hospital on February 3rd, saying the recovery was just part of the challenges that come with being a professional athlete.
