The cameo by Channing Tatum as Gambit was just the icing on the cake for this long-awaited team-up.

I’ve been waiting years to witness these iconic characters share the silver screen together, and this dream is finally becoming a reality!

Since the movie spans across multiple universes, it’s no surprise that Easter Eggs and appearances by famous figures were integrated into the film. This blockbuster is continuing to break records at the worldwide box office, by the way. Although we’ve previously identified many of these cameos, there’s always room for revealing more fascinating tidbits about specific individuals.

As a longtime fan of the X-Men franchise, I must express my excitement about the upcoming focus on Gambit, one of the most iconic characters in the series. Having watched every film in the series since the first one came out and being an avid reader of the comics, I can’t wait to see Channing Tatum bring this character to life once again. For those who have been eagerly awaiting his return to the role, he has some news that is sure to get them pumped up. While it may not guarantee a permanent return to the role, it certainly adds fuel to the speculation and keeps hope alive for fans like myself. As we wait for more details to emerge, I can’t help but feel that this could be a pivotal moment in the X-Men universe and a chance for Tatum to truly shine as Gambit.

You might remember that Channing Tatum was initially planned to star in a solo Gambit movie. Unfortunately, this project never took off, causing disappointment among fans who were looking forward to seeing Tatum as the lead in the standalone Gambit film. However, Tatum made a brief appearance as Gambit in the movie Deadpool & Wolverine, donning a costume true to the comic character. This pleased many fans who got to see this representation of their favorite character.

In a different reality, his persona was formed, and although he doesn’t manage to elude the Void by the film’s conclusion, Deadpool’s appeal to the Time Variance Authority (TVA) hints at a possible return. This suggests that the TVA might take action regarding him and other characters in future instances.

Currently, numerous supporters harbored concerns that Gambit might have perished following his grueling final battle against Nova’s minions. However, a sequence towards the end of the credits hints at his survival, and this theory has been substantiated – albeit indirectly – by Tatum himself.

At that instant, I’d wager my best guess is that he remains within The Abyss. However, there seems to be an occurrence taking place at that time, a development that might still be a mystery to all.
