In 1994, the actor was arrested at JFK airport after airport security found a loaded gun in his carry-on luggage. Witnesses said he was also difficult and confrontational with airline staff during check-in. He later reached a deal where, instead of facing other penalties, he agreed to volunteer and work with homeless children.
