In his post, Schulman shared that he sustained an injury to his neck, specifically between the C5 and C6 vertebrae. This is a serious injury, but luckily for him, there’s no reported paralysis. Initially, there were concerns about whether his hands would regain function, but fortunately, they have fully recovered. Schulman expressed admiration for human resilience and was amazed at how far he’s progressed in his recovery process.
