This film marks the return of Star Wars to cinemas after a seven-year gap, following 2019’s The Rise of Skywalker. Its debut during the Super Bowl was considered crucial for its success.

Based on the incredibly popular PlayStation game series inspired by mythology, the project has been greenlit for two seasons. Currently in pre-production in Vancouver, the team is now actively casting actors.

Downey posted the image to the tune of ACDC’s “Thunderstruck” and wrote: “Team Green 🏈.”

As a huge movie fan, I was thrilled to see some new photos and a video clip from the Highlander reboot! During a dramatic moment in the Seattle Seahawks versus New England Patriots game, Din Djarin and Grogu unexpectedly appear, riding in a wagon pulled by tauntauns instead of horses. The scene deliberately evokes classic Super Bowl commercials, but with a fun Star Wars theme.

The trailer highlights the film’s main message with the phrase, “People deserve to know,” and announces it will be in theaters on June 12, 2026.

Bad Bunny started his concert at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, with a show-stopping performance of “Tití Me Preguntó,” immediately followed by “Yo Perreo Sola,” which included a special appearance by Cardi B. The performance also featured a surprise group of backup dancers, including Jessica Alba, Alix Earle, Karol G, and Pedro Pascal, who added to the excitement. Puerto Rican rapper Young Miko and entrepreneur David Grutman also made appearances during the show.
