Takashi Yamazaki, the director and visual effects artist behind the first Academy Award-winning film in this long-running series, is back.

The Superman photo depicts Henry Cavill as the character, shot with Zack Snyder’s signature dramatic flair. The Joker image shows Jared Leto wearing the tactical SWAT gear his character sported in the dark, dystopian Knightmare sequence from the Justice League movie.

The movie centers on Ben De Backer (Corey Fogelmanis), a teenager whose life is turned upside down when their parents react to their coming out as nonbinary by kicking them out. This painful rejection forces Ben to move in with their older sister, Hannah (Alexandra Daddario), and her husband, Thomas (Cole Sprouse), whom they haven’t been close to. Suddenly, Ben has to navigate a new school and rebuild their life after experiencing this family trauma.

Honestly, it’s just heartbreaking to read about everything he went through, but I’m so glad his wife was his rock throughout it all – she’s amazing! I’ve been desperately trying to find out what happened with the investigation, if anything actually came of it, and if it messed up filming the last season we’re all waiting for. But everyone’s staying totally tight-lipped! Millie Bobby Brown’s team won’t say a word, and Netflix is acting like nothing ever happened. It’s so frustrating! I just want to know the truth and hope everything is okay, and that it didn’t impact the show we all love.
