James Gunn officially announced that the Superman sequel will hit theaters on July 9, 2027, accompanied by artwork from Jim Lee featuring David Corenswet as Superman and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor. However, fans are intrigued because both Corenswet and Hoult shared additional pieces of artwork – one from Jorge Jiménez and another from Mitch Gerads – which some believe might suggest multiple adversaries in the movie.
During an interview with Agence-France Presse, the actor disclosed that he had completed work on the Matt Damon film and was now fully devoted to perfecting his superhero techniques for Spider-Man: A Fresh Start.
Gun shared an artwork by Jim Lee depicting David Corenswet as Superman and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, both wearing the Watsuit.
Previously there were reports that the series had been cancelled, but now it’s officially confirmed that it will go ahead, though there will be a change in the production team as two new producers have joined the project.
The upcoming movie continues the narrative from “28 Years Later,” a film previously directed by Danny Boyle.
Simone Ashley has moved on from Joshua Jackson and is now linked with Tim Sykes. Their romance speculations ignited after being seen together in New York City as recently as August, although neither party confirmed their relationship status. However, it appears that by September, their dynamics took an unexpected turn.
There’s not much additional information about the rumor, making it uncertain whether it refers to a feminine reincarnation of Microchip, a fresh character, or an already established female Marvel character.
It’s possible that the changes were made due to the revelation by Kevin Feige that, as many had suspected, there is a lack of interest in watching the character, Ms. Marvel.
