The Talamasca, a very old organization in Anne Rice’s stories, has a simple motto: “We watch. And we are always here.” For over a thousand years, they’ve secretly studied all things supernatural. Officially, their purpose is just to observe and understand these beings, not to interfere with the world or reveal their existence. But not all members of the Talamasca are focused on pure research, and sometimes, powerful supernatural creatures – like vampires – actually run parts of the organization.

The upcoming movie will explore the beginning of Ed and Lorraine Warren’s career as paranormal investigators, potentially showing how they first met. However, it will likely be a dramatized version of events, not a completely accurate portrayal. It’s doubtful Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga will reprise their roles, as this film is a prequel. Similar to the flashback at the start of Last Rites, the younger versions of the Warrens will be played by new actors – Orion Smith and Madison Lawlor – who bear a striking resemblance to Wilson and Farmiga. Initially, filmmakers considered using digital technology to make Wilson and Farmiga appear younger, but Vera Farmiga suggested it would be more effective to cast new actors instead.

Okay, so here’s the scoop: Stranger Things 5 is dropping on Christmas Day! That basically makes part of the final season a Christmas special, right? And while How the Grinch Stole Christmas isn’t an ’80s movie – it’s from 1966 – I have a feeling the kids are always watching it. Honestly, maybe instead of getting all tangled up in Dungeons & Dragons trying to figure out how to beat Vecna, they should just hold hands and sing carols around a Christmas tree. It might be exactly what they need!

The new trailer for Stranger Things 5 immediately shows Hawkins completely sealed off by the military. Eleven and Mike are talking on a rooftop, and Mike admits they’re losing hope, feeling trapped with no clear end to the lockdown in sight. We then see soldiers and a massive fence, confirming Hawkins is effectively imprisoned. Plus, there’s a quick shot of Linda Hamilton armed with a gun! Things look incredibly bleak for Eleven and her friends, with no way to escape. However, we still have faith in them.

Good news for fans of King of the Hill, especially those who are retired! The show isn’t going anywhere for a while. It recently returned with an older version of the characters and was already planned to have a 15th season. Now, Hulu has ordered two more seasons – 16 and 17 – meaning viewers will get 20 additional episodes beyond what was previously announced.

As a fan, I’m really excited about this new opportunity! It looks like there are two parts to it – a ‘Wonder Pick’ event and a ‘Drop Event.’ The Drop Event seems like it’ll be a fun challenge where you battle against the computer using specific decks. Both events sound pretty similar, but they’re separate, so that’s cool!

Mega Rising (set B1) is a large expansion containing three booster packs. It’s similar in size to the game’s original expansion, Genetic Apex (set A1), but even bigger. Genetic Apex has 259 cards, and Mega Rising adds over 70 more to that!

Of all the available traits, Lucky is the most consistently useful. While certain character builds might benefit from other specific traits, Lucky is a strong choice for anyone. It not only increases your chance of landing critical hits, but more importantly, it provides extra opportunities to succeed during important skill checks, making it valuable throughout the game’s story.

It’s also frustrating to create a detailed character and then have their face hidden by a helmet, so we’ll show you how to work around that.
