The episode concludes with the group playing a game of Dungeons & Dragons. During the game’s ending, Mike Wheeler describes what the future holds for Lucas, Max, Dustin, and Will as if it were the conclusion of their Dungeons & Dragons campaign. While these futures aren’t definitively confirmed, the ending of Stranger Things 5: The Finale heavily suggests they will come true.
