At Gamescom 2025, we got a hands-on look at a new, powerful tool Envision Entertainment is using to create game worlds. Envision’s Volker Wertich showed us how users can adjust things like the starting locations of groups, where resources appear, and even the placement of mountains. The tool then automatically builds the terrain and populates it with assets, similar to how it normally generates maps.

As a huge fan of classic TV, I was blown away by the recent Heritage Auctions sale of Dr. Stewart Berkowitz’s collection. Dr. Berkowitz was an early adopter of eBay and sadly passed away earlier this year, leaving behind an incredible trove of memorabilia. The auction was full of amazing costumes, the kind that would make any serious collector’s jaw drop. One of the highlights was a Wonder Woman costume actually worn by Lynda Carter, complete with her lasso – it went for $225,000! And for Star Trek fans, two of William Shatner’s Captain Kirk costumes were sold: his regular uniform for $62,500 and the unforgettable evil Kirk costume from “Mirror, Mirror” for $52,500. It was a truly epic auction!

I’ve been aware of these films my whole life, seen countless adaptations and imitations, and encountered them everywhere in popular culture. So, I had a lot of preconceived notions going in. I wanted to see which assumptions were correct, what surprised me, what let me down, and what I truly enjoyed. Here’s a breakdown of how each movie measured up to my expectations—the good, the bad, and everything in between.

The ‘War Sails’ expansion dramatically expands the world of this strategy RPG, adding exciting naval combat and ocean travel. You’ll command your own fleet, choosing from 18 different ship types, and engage in battles where you can board, ram, or set enemy ships ablaze. But be careful – unpredictable weather like storms and shifting winds can quickly change the tide of battle!

They might be holding off on a Hello Kitty movie to see how Mattel’s other film projects perform. While Barbie was a success, these other movies could fail, suggesting a Hello Kitty film might not be a good investment.

The updated version of the game will cost $64.99 for new players. If you already have the game on Switch, you can upgrade for just $4.99. This new edition supports up to 4K resolution at 30 frames per second, offers improved mouse controls with the Joy-Con 2, utilizes the Switch 2 microphone to find characters within the game, and lets up to twelve players join multiplayer sessions.

After this, the story focuses on Sidney trying to keep her daughter, Tatum, safe while also trying to uncover the identity of the new Ghostface killer. The trailer for Scream 7 briefly shows Gale Weathers teaming up with Sidney again. We also see the Meeks twins, though their role isn’t fully explained. It seems likely they’ll return to Woodsboro and have a dangerous encounter with Ghostface. Tatum will have to find her inner strength and fight, just like her mother.

Millie Bobby Brown described Eleven’s state of mind heading into the fifth season of Stranger Things. She’s been training and is fully focused on being a warrior – something we’ll see right from the start of the season. Eleven’s only concern is protecting her friends, who she considers her family, and she’ll do anything necessary to keep them safe.
