Actor James Ransone Has Passed Away, Age 46

James Ransone always stood out, no matter the size of the project. I recently revisited his early work in the 2002 film Ken Park, where he memorably played a disturbingly unsettling character. He quickly followed that up with a key role as Iggy Sobotka in the second season of HBO’s The Wire, and then played Cpl. Josh Ray Person in the highly praised miniseries Generation Kill. Ransone, known for his lean build and rapid speech, consistently delivered strong performances playing characters who were struggling or trying to make something of themselves.

It’ll be some time before we see any trailers or learn much about what’s coming in the next season. Christopher Nolan’s THE ODYSSEY Trailer FINALLY Sets Sail

The first trailer for The Odyssey, starring Matt Damon as the legendary King Odysseus, begins with his famous Trojan Horse strategy. We see how it leads to victory for Agamemnon (played by Benny Safdie). The trailer then flashes back to Odysseus telling his wife, Penelope (Anne Hathaway), that he may not return home, and shows her in the present day with their son, Telemachus (Tom Holland). However, the trailer primarily focuses on Odysseus’ difficult and violent journey back home, including a confrontation with the giant cyclops, Polyphemus.
