Galaxy’s Edge is visually stunning and incredibly detailed, making it feel like you’ve stepped right into the world of Star Wars. However, it’s missing a crucial element: a sense of life and movement. Unlike areas like Fantasyland, with its spinning carousel, or New Orleans Square, with the moving riverboat, Galaxy’s Edge feels static – almost like a beautiful, frozen picture. To truly bring the land to life, Disney needs to add something that’s constantly in motion. Reviving the originally planned Bantha ride could be a solution, or they could create something completely new. The key is to introduce kinetic energy and make the land feel vibrant and alive.

The film introduces us to Mickey (Zelda Adams), who has been battling a long-term illness. Despite undergoing chemotherapy and radiation, doctors have given her only a few months to live. But she finds a glimmer of hope in a dream, a call for healing from Solveig (Toby Poser), an enigmatic woman with a striking style – she always wears flowing black clothing. Solveig is a captivating character and perfectly embodies this haunting, all-black aesthetic.

Most knights in Westeros are loyal to a specific lord or castle, but “hedge knights” are different. They don’t serve anyone permanently and travel around Westeros taking on short-term jobs. Unlike other knights who own land, hedge knights don’t have a home base and choose their own assignments. As part of this, they all take the same vow to the Seven Gods. Knighthood was brought to Westeros thousands of years ago by the Andals, who also introduced the Faith of the Seven. This explains why knighthood isn’t common in the North, as they still follow the old gods.

The casting call for the new Baywatch series asks applicants to come dressed for the beach, but with a focus on polished professionalism.
