The recent teasers for upcoming Marvel movies all seem to be highlighting the theme of parenthood. The Captain America teaser revealed Steve Rogers has a child, while the Thor teaser centered on Thor and his daughter, Love. Those who’ve seen the teaser for the fourth movie, Doomsday, say it involves the Fantastic Four searching for their son, Franklin. This has led to speculation that Doctor Doom might be kidnapping the children of superheroes for his own purposes. Could Cyclops be dealing with the abduction of his child, and if so, which one? Our theory connects this to Marvel’s other 2026 film, Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

We don’t know yet who Stan will play in the movie, but we have a couple of strong guesses. One possibility is Dr. Thomas Elliot, a childhood friend of Bruce Wayne who also experienced a difficult past. If rumors about the script are true, Stan would be a great fit for the role – and he physically resembles Robert Pattinson, which could work well. Another likely candidate is Harvey Dent, the Gotham City District Attorney. This idea comes from speculation that Johansson might be cast as Gilda Gold, Harvey’s wife, who is a key character in the The Long Halloween storyline.

Sometimes, not having a clear answer is the point. While there’s strong evidence suggesting Eleven lived – and the show’s creators seem unwilling to kill off a key character – the uncertainty itself is more important than whether she truly survived. We weren’t expecting to see Hugh Jackman as an older Robin Hood, but the upcoming film, The Death of Robin Hood, has definitely caught our attention. The trailer is exciting and action-packed, and it also features a great cast including Jodie Comer, Bill Skarsgård, Murray Bartlett, and Noah Jupe.
