November 3rd is a key date for Godzilla fans. It’s the anniversary of the original 1954 film’s release. Seventy-two years after Godzilla first appeared on screen, and three years after the hit film Godzilla Minus One (released in Japan on November 3, 2023), Godzilla Minus Zero will continue the monster’s story, debuting on Japan’s Godzilla Day in 2026. For the first time ever, the film will be released in Japan and North America around the same time. Release dates for other countries will be announced later.

LEGO is starting a new series of Pokémon building sets with three initial releases. These include the LEGO Pokémon Pikachu and Poké Ball set, a larger set featuring LEGO Pokémon Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise, and a LEGO Pokémon Eevee set.

I’m so excited about the introduction of Miss Wednesday, played by Charithra Chandran! She’s partnered with Mr. 9 from Baroque Works, and like most of their agents, they work as a team. While she doesn’t have any Devil Fruit powers, she’s incredibly skilled with her unique weapon – these amazing, razor-sharp discs called ‘Kujakki (Peacock) Slashers’ that she throws with incredible precision. With her striking blue hair, she’s definitely going to cause some trouble for the Straw Hat Pirates. I have a feeling we’ll first meet her in Whiskey Peak, which is one of the first adventures the crew has in the Grand Line!

Danny Ramirez is set to appear as Joaquin Torres/Falcon in the next Avengers: Doomsday film, which is shaping up to have a huge cast. Because of this, many believe he’ll also be in Avengers: Secret Wars. However, filming Avengers movies and TV shows like The Last of Us takes a long time, potentially creating scheduling conflicts. Currently, it’s just speculation, and HBO hasn’t confirmed if Ramirez has been replaced in The Last of Us season 3, or if a new actor will play Manny. Also, it hasn’t been officially announced that Falcon will even be in Avengers: Secret Wars.

While the opening theme of Twin Peaks is arguably the show’s most famous piece of music, “Laura Palmer’s Theme” is equally memorable. The song perfectly captures the deep sadness surrounding the death of Sheryl Lee’s character, Laura Palmer, who is central to the entire story. Surprisingly, a version of the theme using silly cat meows is hilarious! Sometimes something so ridiculous is actually brilliant. We think the creators, David Lynch and Angelo Badalamenti, would have appreciated the humor in it too, if they were still here.
