She immediately attacks an outpost of the Dwendalian Empire, swiftly defeating everyone inside, including even the horses. The only person she pauses before killing is a young woman who pleads for her life.

In the upcoming game, players will control Dylan, a character who’s always been more powerful than Jesse, as he ventures into the world after the strange events from the Oldest House spill out. Following the success of both Control and the critically acclaimed Alan Wake 2, Remedy Entertainment is continuing its streak. Resonant seems to be taking a fresh approach, similar to but distinct from the original Control, just like Alan Wake 2, and will likely include more connections to the Remedy universe. According to GamesRadar+, Resonant will shift away from third-person shooting and focus on melee combat within an action RPG format.
