The new “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” collection will feature a wide range of products, including action figures, playsets, vehicles, games, and collectibles. This collaboration coincides with the release of “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem 2” in 2027, which will see Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo facing off against their greatest enemy, The Shredder, while juggling high school and superhero life. Mattel is also developing a product line for a live-action/CG animated “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” movie planned for 2028.

Nicolas Cage isn’t playing the traditional Spider-Man; his character is called “The Spider,” inspired by classic heroes from the 1930s like The Shadow. While connected to Spider-Man’s story, he’s not Peter Parker – instead, he’s Peter Parker’s clone, Ben Reilly, to better suit Cage’s age. Cage plans to base his performance on Humphrey Bogart, particularly his role in The Maltese Falcon. However, the showrunner, Oren Uziel, says Cage’s portrayal will be a mix of 70% Bogart and 30% Bugs Bunny – a uniquely Nicolas Cage approach! This marks Cage’s first-ever television series after a long and successful film career.

According to Variety, Universal Pictures plans to release The Mummy 4, starring Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz, in theaters on May 19, 2028. The film will be directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett of Radio Silence, with a script by David Coggeshall.
