We’re guessing the full The Mandalorian and Grogu movie won’t quite capture the same cuteness as the Super Bowl trailer. Here’s the official description of the movie from Lucasfilm:

The movie Project Hail Mary is adapted from Andy Weir’s 2021 novel of the same name. Drew Goddard, who previously wrote the screenplay for Weir’s The Martian, penned the script. The film is directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller, marking their first directorial effort since 2014’s 22 Jump Street. While they initially began working on Solo: A Star Wars Story, they were later replaced by Ron Howard. The story follows Ryland Grace (played by Ryan Gosling), a science teacher who wakes up on a spaceship far from Earth with no memory of his identity or how he arrived. As his memories return, he learns he must solve the mystery of a substance causing the sun to fade and save Earth from extinction, though he might not have to do it alone thanks to an unlikely friendship.

I never would have imagined combining Red Dead Redemption 2 with Pokémon, but a YouTuber named Blurbs actually pulled it off! This mod lets you play as Arthur Morgan, but instead of an outlaw, he’s a Pokémon trainer. Since the world doesn’t have Pokémon like Pikachu or Bulbasaur, you catch horses, ducks, and other wild animals instead. It’s a pretty unique combination!

Thor and Storm, both characters in Marvel Comics, have a shared connection through their power over lightning. In fact, Marvel Comics once made Storm an Asgardian goddess and gave her a special hammer called Stormcaster. With the upcoming Avengers: Secret Wars movie, it seems highly likely we’ll see a scene where Storm uses her mutant abilities to summon lightning, which Thor then amplifies and directs at Doctor Doom with his hammer. It would be a perfect pairing of their powers, and Marvel Studios seems unlikely to pass up the opportunity.

This video is a fun reminder of how funny and enduring the Muppets can be. Disney has spent the last three decades trying to update the Muppets for today’s viewers, with mixed results. While the 2011 Muppets movie was a hit, other attempts haven’t quite worked. As the new Muppet Show special showed, people really just want the classic Muppets format, but with current celebrities. Hopefully, we’ll see a lot more of this classic Muppet magic soon. Jim Henson’s characters are truly valuable assets that Disney should utilize more.
